On the closing night of MAZUHA 混刃 A BODY LEFT OPEN, Saturday 13 September, from 18:00 to 20:00, audiences are invited to experience a rare and intimate SHIBARI performance. Rooted in the Japanese art of rope bondage, this performance transforms the human body into a living canvas—bound, suspended, and revealed. Set against the raw and emotionally charged backdrop of Kitagawa’s photography, the act embodies vulnerability, surrender, and visceral strength. Rope becomes both a restraint and a release, carving out space for unfiltered intimacy. With each knot and gesture, the performance strips away pretense, leaving behind a haunting portrait of the body as both fragile and fearless.
