UPCYCLING WORKSHOP #3 WITH BLACK AND BLUE

At Black and Blue, they believe that sustainability and style can go hand in hand. Based in Berlin, the creative couple Yagiz and Katarina transforms discarded bicycle inner tubes into unique, long-lasting bags, each one hand-sewn with care and intention.

Their mission is simple: to reduce waste and create products that matter. Every bag they make carries a story, not just of its past life on the road, but of a conscious choice to reuse, rethink, and resist fast fashion.

Now, they’re taking their mission a step further by joining this upcycling workshop. As invited makers, they’ll share their passion for transforming discarded bicycle inner tubes into something new. Using the same reclaimed materials they work with every day, you’ll have the chance to learn how to craft jewelry and small organizers, giving new life to what was once thrown away.
